Co-design Your P(a)lace programme is back!

  • Are you a student or young professional looking for an exciting possibility for learning, creating social impact and sharing your knowledge with the local community?

  • Do you want to learn about service design in the context of social challenges?

  • Are you interested in developing your experience on a real case study of building a community around the regenerated Palace-Park Complex in Siemianowice Śląskie, Poland?

If YES, Summer Volunteer Programme might be an interesting proposal for you!

In short, it is learning by doing, practising by volunteering, and making a change by personal engagement in social challenges as regeneration is.

It is a call for action! Join the team of only six people who will learn, design and work together from July to September 2021. To make it real, read about the programme, check if it suits you, fill the recruitment form and keep your fingers crossed! The deadline is the 4th of July, so don’t wait too long!

What is the Summer Volunteer Programme about?

It is three months programme focused on building the service that will support the regeneration of the Palace-Park Complex in Siemianowice Śląskie by creating a sustainable community around it. The recruited team ​will learn how to design a service referring to the exciting brief (which is still a secret), prepare a prototype, test it and volunteer for the Stable Foundation and local community purposes.

Summer Volunteer Programme in a nutshell:

  • 3 months of shared team journey

  • 9 hours of educational workshops with experienced designers and educators

  • 12 hours of voluntary work

  • 36 hours of individual work with your team focus on the service design process

  • 2 hours of mentoring
